To celebrate 50 years in business, Irregardless is hosting a series of special prix fixe dinners celebrating each decade it’s been in existence. The first dinner will celebrate the 1970s with a three-course meal for $80 at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 26. The 1975 menu choices will be:
• Shrimp Cocktail with Shrimp Salad, Bibb Lettuce, and Green Goddess Dressing; or Citrus Avocado Salad with Grapefruit, Blood Orange, Grilled Avocado, Red Onion, Little Gems, and Preserved Lemon Poppyseed Dressing.
• Maryland-style Crab Cakes with Three Bean Salad, Curry Remoulade, Frisée and Lemon Oil; or Chicken a la King with Vol-au-Vent, Mushrooms, English Peas, and Sherry Cream; or Primavera with Radiatore Pasta, Zucchini, Snow Peas, Cherry Tomato, Oyster Mushroom, and Parmesan Cream.
• Upside Down Cake with Torched Pineapple, Maraschino Cherry, and Almond Chantilly; or Rum Cheesecake with Graham Cracker Crust, Sour Cream, and Dark Rum Whipped Cream.
Wine or beverage pairings will be optional. Menu subject to change based on availability.
