“We want to serve natural products,” says SupaBowlz Café owner Troy Lehrer. “We use quality ingredients with high nutritional value.”
Lehrer’s goal is for his smoothies to taste great and overflow with healthful foods that will give customers sustained energy and nutrition.
Take the UnBEETable smoothie, a straightforward recipe of bananas, pineapple, protein powder, and peanut butter — and then you get to the star ingredient: beets.
“Beets are one of the foods with the most incredible nutritional value,” says Lehrer. “In the smoothie, you can’t even taste them.”
No time for a sit-down breakfast? Lehrer took all the components of a cozy bowl of oatmeal — steel-cut oats, bananas, blueberries, peanut butter, protein powder, and cold brew — and turned them into a filling smoothie called Breakfast of Champions.
“It’s everything I like, thrown together and tweaked until it’s just right,” says Lehrer.
Other fresh and wholesome offerings at the Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina café locations include acai and poke bowls, salads, and wraps.
